The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting.

2.1 The Committee scrutinised the First Minister on the tourism industry in Wales, particularly in respect of the Welsh Government’s Strategy (Partnership for Growth), support for small businesses and the impact of Brexit, including the fair movement of people.
2.2 The First Minister agreed to provide further information to the Committee on:
· when the results of the feasibility study into the reopening of the railway line between Aberystwyth and Carmarthen will be announced and what the next steps will be;
· any update to the action plan that underpins Partnership for Growth, the Welsh Government’s strategy for tourism, for the remaining period of the strategy; and
· research into visitor profile for Cadw sites.
Members asked the First Minister questions on topical matters.
